Northwest Hiking

For the above average day hiker, a simple pack may not suit all your needs. For many, that one perfect backpack will have plenty of space, be extremely comfortable, and stand up to the abuse extreme sports may inflict on it.  I have always trusted Outdoor Products and their backpacks when I need something that I know I can count on.  The Glacier II backpack has plenty of room and is optimized for ease of use and comfort.  I have used it for over two years, sometimes wearing it everyday for a month on end.  It has stood up to extreme mountain biking, countless hiking trips, and every day use.

As far as functionality goes, this product reaches above and beyond most backpacks.  It has a place for an MP3 player, Cyclone Hydration Pack, and contains a small and large storage area to keep your different supplies separated.  It also has two vertically oriented pads where it rests on your back to keep air flowing easily along your body.

Tip:  The webbing on the outside of the backpack is tempting to put a coat in, but it is better designed to hold a map or smaller item.  Rememeber to always properly secure any item on the outside of the pack.  Happy trails!
